I will present my work on a high-throughput directed evolution method using molecular programs and microfluidics to select enzymes according to their activity. Directed evolution is a protein engineering method mimicking natural evolution to obtain proteins matching a user-defined goal without the need of structural or functional information. With molecular programs we want to create a general method adaptable to various enzymes activity allowing fine tuning of the selection function.
