ERASMUS

The ERASMUS program (EuRopean Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) promotes exchange studies under bilateral agreements between departments of European universities. Participating students pay tuition to their home university and follow a specific curriculum in the host insititution. An Erasmus exchange does not in principle lead to a degree from the host university, but rather earns credits towards the degree conferred by the home university.

ESPCI ParisTech has exchange agreements with the following institutions:

  • Imperial College of Science and Technology in London (UK)
  • University of Cambridge (UK)
  • Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich
  • University of Geneva(Switzerland)
  • RWTH University Aachen
  • Friedrich Schiller University of Jena
  • Complutense University of Madrid
  • University of Rome "Tor Vergata"
  • Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (Norway)

ESPCI ParisTech students can participates in the Erasmus exchange program in two ways. They can spend two and a half months in a partner institution as part of their end-of-studies project at the end of their third year, and fourth-year students can spend the entire academic year abroad.
